Regular repairs to Kawasemi have finally begun, 
including the installation of new copper plates.
It's a very difficult job because the copper plates are cut
 into complicated shapes, shaped into three-dimensional shapes, 
 and pasted onto the boat.
The new copper plate has a copper color, but when it takes on a patina 
and becomes green, it becomes a characteristic of Edo Japanese boats.
